- This is a natural wood product featuring solid birch 5-piece doors and drawer fronts. Because wood expands and contracts, this can produce hairline cracking. Note: This does not always happen and we have never seen it in this style; we're bringing it to your attention before you place your order. This is not considered a defect and warranty will not cover replacement unless it is found to be excessive at the discretion of the manufacturer. Sometimes you may see a hariline crack and then it may be gone. This can come and go based on humidity and climate in the home. At no time should you store your cabinets in any space without climate control. It is recommended to let them acclimate to the climate in your home for 48 hours prior to installation. Storing these cabinets or trim in a non-climate controlled area may cause warping or hairline cracking once they acclimate to your kitchen or bathroom. Applying a nail, screw, or cutting into frozen wood material can cause damage to the material either immediately or in the future. Please do not leave them sit outside or in a garage, especially in the winter time. Please protect your investment.
- Full-overlay door styles leave roughly a 1/4" clearance on the edge. If installed directly against a wall or deeper cabinet and a cabinet door opening of at least 90 degrees is desired, scribe molding or filler should be installed between the cabinet and the wall (or deeper cabinet). If not, the door may not be able to open a full 90 degrees. For a full opening, a space of at least 1/4"-1/2" is necessary, a larger space may be needed depending on the decorative hardware used on the cabinets.
- The cabinet depth measurement listed is the depth from the front of the face frame to the back of the cabinet, and does not include the cabinet door depth.
- Cabinet specs are subject to change without notice. *Cabinet measurements are typically converted from metric to inches and manufacturers will commonly round up to the nearest 1/4 inch. This can cause a measurement to be off by a fraction of an inch (less than 1/4") which is within normal industry standards*
- Schematic images are generic and may not represent exact construction details for each collection. The exact specifications for this collection can be found in the construction details listed above.
Assembly
Your cabinets will come with most of the parts needed for assembly and the parts that need routing will be routed for convenience. They will not have the L-Brackets that attach the face frame to the side/top/bottom panels, which is why these are ready to build versus ready to assemble cabinets. Compressor or battery power tools, nail, staple & glue will be needed to build these cabinets. Each cabinet comes with a hardware box that includes all but L-Brackets to assemble your cabinet. Base cabinets that have drawers will also have a box with glides, and screws for installing them. You will need wood glue, power screwdriver, rubber mallet, crown stapler or corrugated fastener, brad nailer and optional staple gun. You can opt for purchasing L-Brackets instead of using power tools, however, be sure they are the correct size and will not rust over time. Assembly services are available for an added charge and will add 5-7 business days lead time to your order.
Knobs and pulls are not included.
